Pizza Workshop at Hortus Vita with a Professional Chef

Workshop on How to Make Neapolitan Pizza

During our course, you’ll become a master at preparing and baking Neapolitan pizza. We’ve spent half a year perfecting the entire pizza-making process, and we’d love to share our experience, recipes, tips, and tricks with you. The foundation of every pizza is a light and airy dough, high-quality ingredients, and a hot oven. We’ll cover all of these elements together during the workshop.

How does the course work?
  • You'll learn a bit about the history of pizza. We'll explain the differences between New York-style, Detroit-style, and Neapolitan pizza.
  • We'll walk you through the process of making perfectly fluffy dough from start to finish.
  • You'll practice the technique of pulling the dough out, placing it in the oven, turning it, and taking it out
  • It wouldn't work without an oven, so we'll learn how to preheat our pizza oven and explain the differences between baking in an oven and in a home oven.
  • We'll bake 4 basic types of pizza (Margherita, Cheese, Ham, Spicy)
  • We'll taste and evaluate the finished pizzas together
  • You'll take home the dough rolls you make during the class so you can put your new skills to the test the next day.

The course is limited to 6 participants. If you're part of a larger group, please contact us and we'll figure something out.

Classes are held on the first Tuesday of every month, from April through October. After purchasing a class, you must book a date in the reservation system. Please register no later than one week before the course begins.

Based on our experience, we can confidently say that within 3–4 hours, you’ll become a pizza expert. The course begins at 16.00
