The season at Lipnice Castle Has Begun Again
Lipnice Castle is once again opening for the tourist season, specifically Starting March 28, 2024 everyone Thursday–Sunday during the period from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (last tour at 3:00 p.m.)
Lipnice Castle is one of the most imposing Czech noble castles, founded in the early 14th century by the powerful family of the Lords of Lichtemburg and later becoming the seat of the wealthy Trčkas of Lípa, invites you to take a self-guided tour of its monumental medieval architecture, featuring unique views of the surrounding countryside. At the castle, you can explore an archaeological exhibition, a Gothic chapel, and extensive cellars that once housed the banquet hall of Jindřich of Lípa.
